In Yr 6 Parks, Positive Education and a Culture of Thinking are connected through a comprehensive program and are both implicitly and explicitly taught. They flow seamlessly together across all aspects of our program.

Across this year we will be examining and exploring the 8 Cultural Forces and Carey’s Attributes of a Positive Learner to learn how to learn, know where we are going and how we can get there. Assessment for Learning, the PERMA model for well being, visible thinking and differentiation are all intertwined to ensure that we all have the greatest opportunity to develop a growth mindset, own our learning and become the best version of ourselves.

Through our blog, we will share different aspects our classroom to link with positive education and demonstrate the thinking tools and systems that we employ to maximise our learning.
